This is TAT's Open Innovation Experiment on exactly where screen technology will be in just a few years time and this video was to showcase the research and user feedback from the experiment. I'm not sure how realistically all this will happen over the next few years but it will be awesome if this device become reality. The video showcase multi-screen, mirror screens, expendables screen, e-ink screens, transparent screens... you name it and its a screen of the future.

THE INKLESS METAL PEN

Inkless metal pen are one way of cutting down on buying new pens and pencils all of the time. This cool little pen has absolutely no ink and will last for a lifetime.

The Inkless Metal Pen features a special metal alloy tip. As you write, tiny amounts of this metal are deposited onto the page. The silvery markings may resemble pencil, but they are permanent and smudge-proof. The tip will write on both regular paper and glossy paper.

I'll leave you guys with this humorous advertisement video of this product.

BUKIT CAHAYA SERI ALAM

Bukit Cahaya Agriculture Park (Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya) is the only agro-forestry park around, which is quite unique. Located in Shah Alam, Malaysia's first agriculture park was opened to the public since 1986. Inside here, you will be able to visit a few attraction spots, by taking the free bus transportation service provided to travel around the park.

I love the environment here, it was a forest reserve park in a city and plenty of activities available here like Cycling, Jogging, Flying Fox, Paintball and also tourist spot like Four season house, mushroom farm, Animals Garden & etc.

Entrance fees only RM3 for adults and RM1 for kids below 12 years old. My main intention coming here was to cycle around the park. With the bicycle-renting service provided here, it is good for me as I would not need to bring my own. Rental of mountain bike is RM3 for 1st hour and RM1 for following hour. Pretty cheap and healthy activity for weekend.

THE HEIGHT OF TERROR

Takabisha Roller Coaster

The Takabisha roller coaster at Japan’s Fuji-Q Highland amusement park is the world’s steepest steel roller coaster. The thrilling new ride, located at the Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park in Yamanash, Japan,  opened to the public on July 16. Takabisha grab the title of 'ride with the steepest incline' from a British attraction, Mumbo Jumbo at Flamingoland in the UK.

The ride lasts for just 112 seconds but is packed with jaw-dropping features including seven twists, blackened tunnels and a 43 metre high peak. But the most impressive thing about Takabisha is the freefall at 121 degrees, and the top speed of 100 km/h.

This video shows what it's like to ride it. Whoever filmed this video must be crazy. He/she didn't scream at all.

SINGAPORE TRIP

We started our journey at KL Sentral. Our train depart at 11.30 pm. It was a very comfortable journey on the train because our seat type is bed. I fall asleep almost immediately when the train departed. I woke up 6 hours later, and the train almost reach Singapore.

Art & Science Museum

We arrived at Singapore around 7am. Next destination - ArtScience Museum. The gallery
consist of DalĂ: Mind of a Genius – The Exhibition, Van Gogh Alive - The Exhibition,
and Shipwrecked: Tang Treasures and Monsoon Winds. I love the way they presented the
artwork. There's a video screening, interactive screen that we can interact on, and
most of the information been projected to the wall. There were also quotes from well
known artist on the wall along the way to the gallery.

Art and Science Museum

"Enter The Mind Of a Genius" - Entrance to Dali: mind of a genius exhibition
Van Gogh Alive - The Exhibition was my favourite of the 3 gallery. They presented the
artwork in very unique way: projected it on the wall and the floor. The audience can
saw the artwork in 360 degree. There are background music played at the same time that really made the gallery alive.

Inside the "Van Gogh Alive" exhibition

We got the opportunity to enjoy the view of Singapore from the top of Marina Bay Hotel.
It was a good experience. Too bad that the weather at the time was extremely hot. Im
sure the view was beautiful if we got there at night.

Lion King The Musical

One word: Spectacular. Thats one word that describe the musical. The musical was very
good in almost every aspect: the costume, props, cast, acting, dance chereograph, and
whats impressed me was the voice of the cast, was really similar to the original voice
that we heard from the movie. The acting was amazing, so with the music and vocal from
the cast. The puppetry itself was inspiring as it perfectly mimicked the way animals
moved.

It was a really good performance by the dancers and interesting use of props. Watching
this musical really brings back my childhood memory when i was first watch the movie.
Until today, lion king was still one of my favourite animation of all-time. Lion King
The Musical - I loved every bit of it.

Universal Studio

Our last and final destination on this Singapore trip: Universal Studio. It was raining
heavily when we first got there. Thankfully the rain stopped several minutes later. I
started off at Sci-Fi City with several friends. We first went to  'Lights! Camera!
Action! hosted by Steven Spielberg". its a special effects show taking place in a
stunning hurricane-over-New York setting. I rated this "ride" 8 out of 10.

Sci-Fi City

Next we get on Battlestar Galactica ride. There are 2 track on this ride - Battlestar
Galactica CYLON (blue track) and the red track is for Battlestar Galactica HUMAN. We
first ride the CYCLON track, the hanging roller coaster. It was the most thrilling roller coaster i've ever ride. There's a video been playing on the TV monitor in the area where people queue and waiting for their turn. The video was basically about why we get on this ride. So there's a story behind the ride. We played a role of a character that need to get to some place with this ride.

We didn't get the oppurtunity to ride the HUMAN track because there some technical problem occured. The announcement said that they don't know how much time that they need to overcome that problem. So we decided to went to another ride to avoid wasting our time.

Battlestar Galactica Cyclon

We step into the golden era of ancient Egypt, with huge Egyptian statues looming over
us.The environment was pretty good. You can totally felt that you are really in Egypt.
Theres a people dressed up in ancient Egypt costume, where people can take a picture
together with them. Main attraction at Ancient Egypt was The Revenge of the Mummy. Its
a high speed thrill ride through sharp bends and sudden reverse in the darkness. There's not too many people waiting to ride this thing. We get on the ride almost immediately when we arrived at the queue area (after a long walk).

Egyptian Statue

Then we went to The Lost World. We went to Jurassic Park ride. This is the only ride
that I dissapointed of. We waiting for almost 2 hours in queue area. I felt that I just wasted my 2 hours of my time at Universal Studio waiting to experienced the ride. I guess the reason why so many people waiting at Jurassic Park was because this not an extremely thrilling ride. So its suitable for kids. Since there's many visitors bring along their kids, no wonder that so many people queue up for this ride. The good thing was I didn't get wet at all.

Far Far Away: Shrek 4-D adventure was an amazing experience. Experiencing something new was always fun. I thought I got a good seat in the theater since they said that 1st 5 row was the best seat to experience the 3D effects. Then, the scene where Shrek ride the horses started. I watched my front row seat shaking heavily, but my seat didn't. I was really dissapointed by that, since I cant feel the experience of riding the horse.
But other than that, it was all good. I rated it 9 out of 10. It would be 10 out of 10 if my seat was working properly.

Shrek 4D adventure entrance

Thats the end of our Singapore Trip. We went back To KL at the night. Overall, it was a
bit tiring, but it was fun. I'm surely will visit Singapore again next time!

Exploring Second Life #5 LIGHT & GRAVITY

This time around i went to a place called Light and Gravity. It's an artist exhibition which features a unique layout of colorful and transparent building blocks. The design of the place was really interesting. It's a combination of art and color that combined really well. With some lighting effects, its really a wonderful environment. We travel around by hovering in the air, with some weird pose. It looks like we were riding a motorcycle.

Weird pose

To go to artist gallery  we have to click at the boxes to teleport to the artist gallery. Each boxes bring us to different places. I clicked on one of the boxes called Maya Paris, and it bring me to some place at 2nd level. This place only have a ball, cone, and a signboard. So i was thinking, where's the artwork? So i walk to the signboard and click on it. Some windows popup and it shows a video of the artwork by Maya Paris.

The only things in the gallery

I look up and saw some weird looking torn hanging in the air. So i click on it and a fireworks comes out from it. The fireworks looks similar with the one that played on the video before. Its one of the artist installation that displayed in this gallery.

Fireworks

Overall, this is the most beautiful place I've ever been in Second Life. The color, effects, artwork and installation works perfectly fine for me. The way the presented also was very good

Exploring Second Life #4 London City

Next destination - London City.
I've never been to London, so i don't know if this place looks like London of nowhere near of it. One thing that convince me that this is London is the Britain flag that hanging all around the place.

Britain flag on the walk way

A lot of shop in this city. The first few minutes all i saw was shop. Along the road there was nothing except shop. This is totally look like place that got attention from shopaholics. I saw one car, and i decided to drive that car while look around the city ( since this place is quite big).

Shops all around the place

Me travel by car

This place is basically surrounded by sea. You can sit at bar or cafe and have a chat with peoples around you. There's nothing really special about this place. Its just like any other city in the world, with road and building all along the way. I guess this is London looks like. My advice, if you want to explore London City, fly around. If you walk, it took forever because this is a big place. Another option is drive a car or a motorcycle that can be found in the city.
